During the Great Recession of 2007-2009, Rodney Finger, faced one of the toughest economic downturns in our nation’s history. As CEO of Finger Furniture, he managed his family business during a time of significant financial stress. He lived through and witnessed the struggles of retailers to stay in business firsthand — declining sales, mounting debt, and the difficulty of sustaining a business in challenging times.

As a result of his experience, Rodney was determined to create a better way for retailers to navigate these challenges. Rodney and his partner John Dixon founded High Impact Furniture Promotions and ran hundreds of successful retail promotional events for furniture retailers for over a decade. In 2025, after John Dixon passed away, Rodney founded Finger Retail Solutions Group (FRSG) to continue running high-impact sales events for furniture retailers.

With a team that now brings over 100 years of combined experience, the company was built on the belief that promotional sales should serve the retailer’s best interests, not just maximize profits for outside firms.

FRSG has expanded its services by offering operational consulting services and turnaround management consulting for furniture retailers navigating financial stress.
